All students must pass a written exam at the end of the course.
To perform duties as a Level 3 Security Officer, you must attend a 45-hour training session and complete the firearms qualification. The classroom portion covers the authority of an Armed Officer, weapons laws, conflict resolution, defensive tactics, handcuffing, and firearms training. All students must pass a written exam at the end of the course. Following the completion of the classroom portion, all students must pass a firearms qualification to receive their license.
